About
My name is Stella and I'm the creator of Lead me Wild.
Sustainability has always been at the heart of everything I do. Long before this brand existed, I was passionate about reducing waste, avoiding plastic and making more conscious choices about what and how I consume.
The brand was born during a period of uncertainty. After being made redundant following 25 years in a corporate job I found myself at a crossroads, struggling to figure out what I truly wanted to do next. What started as a challenging chapter became an opportunity to lean into something I've always loved but never considered as a career.
For as long as I can remember I have been up-cycling and customising clothes for myself - transforming old pieces into something new, unique and wearable. It never felt like something I could do for work until people began asking where my clothes were from and eventually whether I could make something for them too. That's when it clicked that this could be something more and 'Lead me Wild' was born.
I believe sustainability shouldn't mean sacrificing style - both can (and should) exist together and that balance remains a priority in the items I create.
Every item you'll find here has been handmade from up-cycled or thrifted fabrics, carefully reworked into one-of-a-kind pieces. No two are exactly the same and once a piece is sold, it's gone for good - there are no restocks. Each design is as individual as the person wearing it, hence the tagline:
Sustainably made, individually worn
